Feeling at home in a new home!

We are so happy that Nathaniel and his family are safely and finally here! We love sharing our home with them. We are so grateful for the many sacrifices they have all made to support Nathaniel in his
2 year masters program (Spokan, WA.),
3 year doctorate program (Terra Haute, Indiana),
1 year internship (Denver, Colorado),
and 1 year post-doctorate position (Larned, Kansas).

We feel so grateful that all three places he interviewed for (within commuting distance of our home) wanted him and he was able to choose the one he wanted. We feel so blessed!

Pizza Welcome Party!

Laurie Beth teaching them how to play Clue.

Jonas making his first pot holder on the weaving loom.

For Family Home Evening the N Burts and grandpa went blackberry picking.  As soon as they came home we put the berries through the Victorio Strainer and made 20 cups of juice - ready for jam and syrup.  The boys loved helping.

For seven years this family has lived away from both sets of grandparents.  It is so wonderful to soak up the joy that they bring to us daily.  Our house was meant to be lived in by children!  I feel like the walls are smiling again.
