A fun day with the Wagstaff's pressing apples with their landlord's vintage cider press.
The Wagstaff's invited their friends the Swiney's to join them. The Swiney's brought along a newer cider press so there were two presses working at once.

It looks like hard work but fun, and what a great reward at the end!!
ReplyDeletewere all those apples from sara's apple trees???? looks like tons of work. I'm not sure if I would have been up for it. :)
ReplyDeleteThe family she invited brought most the apples. The Wagstaff's ended up with 4 gallons out of the 13 gallons pressed. With so many helpers the work was done in about 3 hours.
