District photo - Visit from friends - Garden

June 14, 2010 - Flag Day!
Our district sang The Star Spangled Banner for our closing hymn

Our Rome Zone as it looks before transfers this week.

A timed delayed photo zoomed out too far.

Our highlight this past week was a visit from...
Eric and Tristalene Morgensen!
A day in Rome with our friends from home.

Thursday morning - waving good-bye.
It was so wonderful to feel the love and hugs that TJ brought from "home".

Summer heat has come to Rome! Mama Mia!
We can visably see our zucchini plant growing day by day!
Our deck "garden" of zucchini, tomatoes and sweet peas.
Sweet peas grown in our "garden" :)
Can you almost smell their sweet fragrance?

  1. I love your little garden that you are growing..I only did the basil and flowers..amazed at how big the basil got there..ours is struggling here..got them in a greenhouse to give them a chance..love the sweet peas and their delicate little flowers..our home in caserta had tile on the walls..they had little blue flowers and a light blue background for the tile..reminded me of a hospital gown..loved my kitchen though..have a wonderful week.;)
