Office duties - Malta Branch Audit

We spend about 9 hours a day (Mon-Fri) in the office as part of the "Support Team" for our awesome missionaries. One of the blessings of the mission is our association with the missionaries.
Elder Burt receives receipts from missionaries for reimbursement. Most of the reimbursement receipts are for travel expenses.
Elder Burt was given the assignment to conduct the financial audit of the Malta Branch. Malta is an Independent District within the Italy Rome Mission Boundries. They speak Maltese and British English.
The island is very arid looking with beautiful views of the sea.

Elder and Sister Tilley picked us up from the airport. We stopped at this sandwich shop...
... and ate our lunch while waiting to take a Harbor Tour on the boat in the back ground.
The Tilleys and Elder Burt on the boat.
Scenes from the Harbor Tour...
Fancy Hotel.
Errol Flynn's boat - The Black Pearl.
Huge cranes.
A fort's lookout.
A ba-zillion dollar yacht.
A gondola.
Stairs leading down to the harbor.

The sea was quite choppy and I was lucky to keep my lunch!
Sister Tilley being helped off the boat.
Dinner and dessert at The Mint.
The Tilleys drove us to Naxxar. Each town has a huge church in the center.
Our room at the Knights in Malta Bed and Breakfast (a 300 year old Maltese Character House). Notice the 300 year old rock walls.
The Courtyard.
Our room is behind the top window which looks down into the courtyard.
Saying good-bye to our host.
And we're off to the Malta Branch for church.

  3. Your Maltese Bed & Breakfast looks cool! What a fun diversion from your mission home duties. How wonderful that you had another missionary couple to share the outing with. Take care.
