St. Peters - Stake Conference - Mother's Day

We had the priviledge to be Elder Donaldson's guide in Rome.

Elder Donaldson was the presiding authority at the Rome Stake Conference and he had only 4 hours on Saturday morning to see a bit of Rome and he choose to see St. Peters.

The magnificent dome created by Michelangelo.
In Peter's hands are keys but the one in possession of the keys is standing just below him.

Filling up our water bottles.

Sunday morning session of Stake Conference (held in a hotel).

These people are special to me... Sorella Perticaroli

Sorella Canzachi (ward missionary - notice her homemade tag).
In center R.S. President Sorella Malara and Sorella Spinelli

Sorella Hashey and Sorella Urban (Sorella Urban's twin came to visit).

Sorella Urban's mom (lives in Italy) with Sorella Iorfida.

Elder Donaldson giving thumbs up to someone.
President DeFeo at pulpit before meeting. Bishop Celestini to the right.

After the meeting we went to see the flowers at the Spanish Steps.
My own beautiful flowers from a thoughtful husband.
It was especially wonderful to be remembered on Mother's Day by each of my children.
