Sorella Iorfida and Sunflowers

I have loved Sister Iorfida since the first time I met her. In the face of trials and betrayal she has shown amazing faith. Her testimony of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ is sure.

We looked forward to the good-bye dinner she prepared for us.

First plate - pasta and red sauce.

Second plate - chicken and potatoes...

and deliciously prepared zucchini.

Last - fresh plums and a strawberry cream dolce.

We then drove the countryside to the Calabrese home.

We were served a traditional dolce from Sicily (where Sister Calabrese was raised).

We then took a drive together to see a field of sunflowers.

The gate to the field was locked :(
