Snow. Snow. Snow.

We are grateful for a cozy apartment to stay warm in.
We are grateful we've never lost power.
We are grateful we've been kept safe on the roads, especially in the days after each storm (when we needed to venture out to complete missionary assignments).
We are grateful for a diligent landlord who keeps our walks plowed/shoveled.

When it finally warms up around here - we may have to board the ark!
This is the only window in our apartment that looks out on the owner's backyard.
The snow gets caught in the screen.
These two photo show the same scene a few days apart.  The snow banks continue to grow.

A trip to Walmart ~ mountains of snow in the parking lot.

The next three photos show the same car which has never moved since the snows began.

Knowing we had to drive out early, we ventured around the corner and down the sidewalk to our buried car to sweep the snow off it and dig out the tires before the temperature plummeted and the snow froze.
The video clip at the end of this post shows Elder Burt "sweeping" the car top.

When we returned from our labors the next day, we found this car enjoying the spot we had cleared out and of course we had to park in a less desirable snow bank.

  1. Are you wishing you had a 4-wheel drive vehicle with all that snow?
