Great missionaries! Elder Callister, Elder Helding and Elder DeRuvo (assistants to the president) stopped by unexpectedly to ask Elder Burt if he would use his Excel experience to help them with their mission report. Elder Burt had just made corn bread and the kitchen smelled delicious. The missionaries gratefully accepted our impromtu invitation to share our meal of chili and cornbread. It was a priviledge to feed such devoted servants of the Lord.

Once again - feeding the missionaries - us!
Our double date with the Sommerfeldts.
Eatting dinner in our living room and playing games afterwards.
Shopping in the outdoor market. Can you find Elder Burt?
Another double date on a rainy evening in Rome.
It was a bit of an adventure finding the bowling alley - but going anywhere with the Sommerfeldts is an adventure! He can drive just like the Italians. He also has a built in homing device for finding (and sometimes not finding) locations.
unless dad is an orange...I couldn't find him in the picture. Unless you cut his body off except for his shoulder...which sounds like something mom would do :)

ReplyDeletehow did you like your bowling experience..I remember when we went bowling with 2 of our italian family members..it was pure chaos..oh my gosh the place was packed, there was no rhyme or reason to bowling...they don't wait politely while you go up to do your turn..they take your balls from your side..it was so confusing..it was wild...:) oh and I spotted Jeff in the photo..well just his head anyway.:)
