We took a drive to Santa Severa, a small sea resort.
We took a drive to Santa Severa, a small sea resort.
We hiked to the Castle of Santa Severa, built in the Middle Ages on the ancient settlement of Pyrgi, a famous port open to the Mediterranean traffic, controlled by the Etruscan city Caere.
We were unable to tour the castle because it was under renovation.
The Mediterranean Sea is a beautiful turquoise color.
