Landlord - Dinner Guests - Roman Ruins

This is our landlord Mario and his wife Jovanna who invited us to their home for some "refreshment". We look forward to the invitation they have extended to show us the Rome most people miss and to also see Jovanna's facinating place of work.

On Saturday, we went with Marisa to see some Roman ruins in the Sabine Hills.

Marisa read a book about this 200 A.D. ancient community. It was built to be symetrical with the pyramid shaped hill behind it. Statues were in each "doorway".

To the far left was an opening into the "galley" where food was stored.
