Four Rivers Fountain and the Pantheon

We next made our way to Piazza Navona, which is still shaped like the long race track for which it was designed anciently. There were many art vendors in the piazza and many restaurants around the periphery but the main draw it the curious Four Fivers Fountain. Leaving Piazza Navona, we made our way to the Pantheon with its Greek-style roof and columns. From the outside it is a Roman/Greek structure, but the inside was later converted to The Church of Santa Maria and the Martyrs. The dome inspired later domes, like St. Peters.
