President Melone's talk (1st Counselor in the Rome Stake):

He recounted his experience living through the L'Aquila earthquake (early on April 6, 2009 central Italy was struck by a 6.3 magnitude earthquake. The earthquake caused serious damage, killing over 260 residents, injuring over 1,000 and leaving 28,000 homeless). His house was destroyed but they saved their family and their scriptures. Though they were physically homeless, they knew their true house, which was built on the rock of the gospel of Jesus Christ was not destroyed. He then said, "No one can destroy our spiritual house but ourselves. Always be ready when the Lord calls."
